SICKHORSE
Sickhorse is a cool band. Mossy Vaughn (The Heavils, Lizard Skynard, Staggg) leads the way with a writing style that throws dirt in the face of more “refined” singer/songwriters. Ask him yourself, and you’ll quickly learn that Mossy has more hooks than a tackle box. Frontman Derek Luttrell lends his sultry voice to the midwestern super-group, while Zach Staas (Joie de Vivre), Jason Krunnfusz (PHOX), and Daniel Pingrey (Daniel and the Lion) hold down the instrumentation and arrangements.
Sickhorse comes in many different forms, but at it’s core, it’s about a group of people playing songs that tell the story of the little questions in life that you find yourself asking, but never answering.
