TEXAS CHAIN STORE MANAGERS
“Absolute legends.” - Over-enthusiastic Blues Dad
“Nashville’s 4th best opening band.” - John McNally
“The greatest bar band ever.” - Low-tier local promoter
“With a name that good, you don’t even have to play good music.” - Bartender
Nashville supergroup the Texas Chain Store Managers combines all of the stylings of solo artists from Corporate Panda Records into a timeless rock and roll sound. They travel the country playing old-school rock shows at bars and small venues. Fronted by Derek Luttrell, but controlled by the Illuminati and influenced by your Uncle’s Facebook page, TCSM’s sound has been described as “Tom Petty, but for hockey fans" and the live shows leave a buzz in the atmosphere of every venue they play. Headlining acts hate them because they’re afraid of them and they steal snacks from the green room. TCSM plays mostly originals with some covers sprinkled in, and they charge way less than they should. Their upcoming debut album features collaborations with all sorts of Nashville award-winning talent, but you better believe they’re all using pseudonyms in the liner notes to avoid ruining their careers. You can listen to Derek Luttrell’s first album produced and performed by the Texas Chain Store Managers below.
